NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Freed-Hardeman University's Chrissandra Perez is the TranSouth Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 7, 2008.

Perez, a 5-9 senior outside hitter from the Dominican Republic, had 86 kills, had 15 total blocks, 33 digs and notched an .866 kill percentage in five matches this week for the Lady Lions. The senior from the Dominican Republic's dominant performance included two games of 20 kills or more, including a 25-kill match in a 3-1 win over Park University.


Freed-Hardeman was 5-0 during the week.
