JACKSON, Tenn. - The 2009 TranSouth Conference postseason awards were announced during an awards ceremony on Monday at the conference tournament. Tim Dunn of Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University was named the TranSouth Conference Player of the Year. Cumberland (Tenn.) University's Woody Hunt was named the league's Coach of the Year after leading his team to the regular season title. Awards for first team All-Conference, second team All-Conference, and TranSouth Gold Glove were also awarded.
