PADUCAH, Ky. - On the first day of the 2010 McDonald's TranSouth Baseball Conference Tournament, the counference released the 2010 TranSouth Baseball Postseason honors. Cumberland (Tenn.) University's Matt Greener was named the TranSouth Player of the Year, while Cumberland skipper Woody Hunt was named the Coach of the Year.
 
The postseason honors included 17 first team players, 17 second team players and nine Rawlings Gold Glove winners. Cumberland, the regular season champion and NAIA No. 2 ranked team, led the way with eight first team selections. Union (Tenn.) University, the regular season runner up, followed with five first team players. Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College and Bethel (Tenn.) University had two each.
