Championships Game

MARIETTA, Ga. -  Life University defeated Freed-Hardeman 70-68 to win the 2013 TranSouth Championship. It is the first TSAC title for Life, the Running Eagles joined the conference in the summer of 2012.


Championship Game Preview

The 2013 TranSouth Tournament championship will go to a first-time winner as the game will be played between conference newcomer Life University and Freed-Hardeman, who has never won the tournament title. Life will host title game on Tuesday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. For Freed-Hardeman it will be their fourth appearance in the championship game, but they have never won the game. Life is new to the conference this year and are making their first appearance in their inagural season
 


Tournament Preview

The 2013 TranSouth Athletic Conference Championships will be held at home sites. Martin Methodist College is the regular season champion and have won or shared the title in each of the last three seasons. The winner of the 2013 TSAC Championship will secure a trip to Kansas City for the NAIA National Tournament.

The 2013 Buffalo Funds NAIA Division 1 Men's Basketball National Championships takes place at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
