MOBILE, Ala. - The TranSouth Athletic Conference was represented by three teams: Bethel College, Cumberland University, and Freed-Hardeman University at the NAIA National Championships.

Bethel defeated Bethany (Kan.) in the first round before falling 5-2 to Vanguard (Calif.), while Cumberland suffered a close 5-4 first round loss to Graceland (Iowa). Freed-Hardeman made a strong run before bowing out after a 5-3 semifinal loss to Auburn Montgomery. Six Lions made the All-American list.
