LEBANON, Tenn. - Cumberland University Men's & Women's Head Tennis Coach, Bill Riddle recently received the USTA Tennessee Media Excellence Award for his weekly radio show. Coach Riddle is the creator and co host of  "TENNIS TALK" on 1510 WLAC. Although based in Nasvhille on Muic Row the show went live back in August of 2007 from the US Open in New York.

 

Each week he and co host/ tennis enthusiest, Richard Falklen (producer of the House Foundation radio show) discussed the local, college and professional tennis scene. Their list of guest included Davis Cup Captain, Patrick McEnroe; French Open Champion and ESPN commentator, Luke Jensen as well as a host of local players, teaching pros and college coaches and players.

Riddle recieved his award at the recent USTA Tennessee Annual Meeting in Franklin, TN.  Tennis Talk is off the air for the winter but will return in early spring to the airwaves.
