BATESVILLE, Ark. - Lyon College Pipers’ senior guard April Carter became a member of Lyon College's 1,000-point club with her performance in a 78-64 win over Blue Mountain College on Feb. 21.

Carter, a native of Farmington, Ark., currently has 1,015 career points and is 12th on Lyon College’s career scoring list. The Pipers' senior is the school's career 3-point leader (247) and is also the single-season 3-point record holder at Lyon with 96 3-pointers this season.
She also is ranked No. 2 in the nation in 3-point percentage among NAIA Division I women’s basketball players, hitting 3-point shots at a 51% clip.
