Nazarene (Tenn.) University were named the TranSouth Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week respectively for the week ending April 13.
 
The TranSouth also boasts four teams in the NAIA Region XI Top-6. Trevecca Nazarene comes in at No. 2, Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University is No. 3, Lambuth (Tenn.) University is No. 4, and Bethel (Tenn.) College is No. 5 in the region rankings.
 
Panezich, a 6-foot-1 senior catcher from Youngstown, Ohio, helped Martin Methodist to a 3-3 week. He posted a .523 batting average (11-21) with four runs, three doubles, four homeruns, and 11 RBI. His slugging percentage was 1.333 for the week. Martin Methodist is now 24-18-1 overall and 8-10-1 in the TranSouth.
 

Griggs, a 6-foot-1 junior pitcher from Cookeville, Tennessee helped the first place Trojans to a 3-1 week with his win at receiving votes Lyon (Ark.) College. In his 1-0 win, Griggs tossed a complete game two-hit shutout while striking out five hitters. Trevecca Nazarene, ranked No. 16 in the NAIA, is now 25-11 on the week and 12-2 in the conference.
