(Tenn.) University were named the TranSouth Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week respectively for the week ending April 21.
 
The TranSouth also boasts five teams in the NAIA Region XI Top-6. Trevecca Nazarene comes in at No. 2, Lambuth (Tenn.) University is No. 3, Cumberland is No. 4, Union (Tenn.) University is No. 5, and Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University is No. 6.
 

Lynch, a 6-foot senior third baseman from Nashville, helped lead the Trojans to a perfect 5-0 week. He posted a .643 batting average (9-14) with six runs, three doubles, one homerun, and seven RBI. Lynch also walked four times and captured one stolen base. The week for the Trojans included a series sweep of Mid-Continent (Ky.) University that helped Trevecca Nazarene clinch their third TranSouth Regular Season Title in the last four years. Trevecca Nazarene is now 30-11 on the season and 17-2 in the TranSouth.

 
Spivey, a 6-foot-7 junior right-hander from Ocala, Florida, earned a win over Missouri Baptist University. He tossed seven innings, allowing just three hits and no runs for the win. Spivey also struck out six batters. Cumberland is now 34-18 on the year and 13-9 in TranSouth play.
