TNU's Kelly Huff
NASHVILLE, Tenn.
- Kelly Huff of Trevecca
Nazarene University
has been named the TranSouth Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending
Oct. 26.
Huff, a 5-7 senior setter from Chesterfield,
Mo., led her team to a perfect 3-0 week during
this span with match wins over Union University, Lambuth University and
Crichton College.
The senior setter collected 94 assists, 22 digs and seven
total blocks in 10 games this week. Huff had a double-double of 42 assists and
11 digs in a big conference win over Union and is rapidly approaching the
4400-assist mark, which is believed to be the career gold standard for setters at
Trevecca Nazarene.
TNU currently stands at 17-8 overall and is in third place
in the TranSouth with an 8-4 league mark.
