HENDERSON, Tenn. - Camilla Hovden and Tatiane Alexio of Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College have been named the TranSouth Athletic Conference's women's soccer offensive and defensive players of the week respectively for the week ending Oct. 26, 2008.

Hovden, a junior forward from Bergen, Norway, recorded a hat trick in the RedHawks' 9-0 win over Georgetown (Ky.) College to help her team improve to 13-1 on the season.
All three of her goals came in a 10-minute stretch.  She scored in the 39th and 43rd minutes to extend MMC's halftime lead to 5-0, then added her third just four minutes into the second half.

Alexio, a sophomore defender from Jundaie, Brazil, anchored a stout MMC defense that allowed only six shots and three shots on goal in a pair of shutout wins over Covenent College and Georgetown College.

The RedHawks are currently ranked No. 4 in the NAIA.
