Bethel's Jessica Vieira

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Bethel College's Jessica Vieira is the TranSouth Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 2, 2008.

Vieira, a 5-9 sophomore outside hitter from Brazil, had 34 kills, 33 digs, 5 blocks and three aces during a 1-1 week for Bethel.

Vieira's best performance this week came in a 3-0 over Lambuth University, where the sophomore had 20 kills and 21 digs.

Bethel currently sports a 13-11 record overall.
