JACKSON, Tenn. - The 2009 TranSouth Conference Championships took place on the campus of Union University in Jackson, Tenn. The Union Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs captured top spot in both races. Union's Hannah Clardy and Alex Bett also claimed first place and Runner of the Year honors in their respective races.

For the Union women, it marked the seventh straight title, while the men notched their sixth straight title.

At the awards luncheon, the championship banners and post season awards were presented.
