BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Trevecca Nazarene's Kassie Evick has been selected as the TranSouth Conference Offensive Player of the Week and Trevecca's Amy Maslyn has also been named the TranSouth Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 19-25, 2009.

Evick, a senior forward from Middletown, Ohio, helped Trevecca to a 2-0-1 week with three goals and three assists in the Trojans' shutout victories over Tennessee Temple and Lambuth. Evick The senior now shares the Trevecca season record for goals in a season (10) with former Trojans Karen Francis and Tori Sanchez.

Maslyn, a senior goalkeeper from Lakeland, Fla., stopped seven shots in 180 minutes of work and had two shutout victories for the Trojans.

The Trojans are currently riding a four-game unbeaten string and have improved their record to 7-6-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the TranSouth Conference.
