DECATUR, Ala. - The quarterfinals are
in the books at the 2009 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship in
Decatur, Ala. Unseeded Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) (15-4-3) is the
talk of the tournament after stunning No. 1-seed Lindsey Wilson (Ky.)
(19-3-2), 2-0 on Wednesday evening.
The Sea Lions scored a goal in the
first and second half on their way to shutting out the No. 1 team in
NAIA women's soccer. It is the first time that Point Loma Nazarene has
reached the semifinals of the National Championship. The Sea Lions are
