NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Kaitlin Dudley of No. 1 Union (Tenn.) University has been named the TranSouth Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 31, 2010.

Dudley, a five-foot-ten senior guard from Bradford, Tenn., scored 28 points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out three assists, and had three steals in Union's 98-71 win over the Trojans. Dudley hit 10-of-13 from the field, 6-of-8 from 3-point range, and hit both free throws.

Union is currently ranked No. 1 in the NAIA Women's Basketball Division 1 Top 25. The Bulldogs are 21-1 overall and finished the first half of the TranSouth schedule at 8-0.
