NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Two of Trevecca's top scorers have recently reached scoring milestones. Abby Lawson surpassed the 1500 career scoring mark while K.C. Van Atta reached 1000. Van Atta also set the Trevecca record for made career 3-pointers.
Abby
Lawson has reached the 1500 career scoring mark this season. The senior
is just
the fourth Trojans to reach the career milestone. She reached the
milestone in
Trevecca's win over Freed-Hardeman on January 18, 2010.
Lawson
is the first Trojan to amass more than 1500 points, 500 rebounds, 300
assists,
250 steals, and 150 blocks in their career.

Van Atta recently became Trevecca's
10th player to score more than 1000 career points. Van Atta is on pace
to set
career highs in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks per game
this
season. The junior from Mt. Juliet, Tenn. leads the team in scoring this
season.
Van
Atta also set the Trevecca career record for 3-pointers made. The mark
adds to
her school record for 3-pointers made in a game with eight
