NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Greg Truvillion of No. 15 Union (Tenn.) University has been selected as the TranSouth Conference men's basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 7, 2010.  It is the third time this season for Truvillion to be honored by the conference.

Truvillion, a six-foot-ten senior forward from Lansing, Mich., averaged 20.5 points, nine rebounds, and three assists per game on the week. The all-conference player was 16-24 (67%) from the field, 3-5 (60%) from 3-point range, and 6-7 (86%) from the foul line on the week. In the Bulldogs 92-55 conference win at Bethel University he scored 23 with 13 rebounds and five assists. He hit 9-12 from the field while nailing his only 3-pointer and 4-5 from the foul line. The double-double was his 13th of the season.

Union, currently ranked No. 15 in the NAIA Men's Basketball Division 1 Top 25, has a 18-6 record and shared the TranSouth lead with Freed-Hardeman at 9-1 in league play.
