NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The TranSouth Athletic Conference announced its 2010 women's basketball postseason awards Wednesday, highlighted by Union University's Kaitlin Dudley being named Player of the Year, Allysia Bailey of Cumberland University being selected as the Newcomer of the Year, London Elie of Trevecca Nazarene University being tipped as Freshman of the Year, and Mark Campbell being named Coach of the Year. First-team and second-team All-TranSouth honorees, All-Freshman team, along with Player, Coach and Freshman, were chosen by the league's Nine coaches.


The 2010 TranSouth Women's Basketball Tournament Quarter Finals begins Wednesday, March 3 and runs through Championship game on Monday, March 8th.
