HENDERSON, Tenn. - Freed-Hardeman softball coach Todd Humphry won the 200th game of his career on Tuesday, March 16, during the Lady Lions' home opener of the 2010 season.

FHU swept a double-header from Lambuth (Tenn.) University, 7-4 and 8-7, to put Humphry at the 200 win mark in his tenth season with the program.  His career record is 200-190.

The Lady Lions are coming off a run of three successful seasons that saw them compile a record of 96-41.  They achieved their first national ranking last season, reaching No. 23 on two separate occasions.

Humphry is the third coach in FHU softball history.  Terry Weeks began the program in 1991, leaving the post after eight years with a record of 132-95.  Robbie Goodman coached the team in 1999.

Freed-Hardeman is 8-8 on the season.
