BATESVILLE, Ark. - Bruno Mores of Martin Methodist College has been named the TranSouth Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Hayden Coffman of Trevecca Nazarene University has been named the TranSouth Conference Men's Soccer Defender of the Week for the week ending Aug. 29, 2010.

Mores, a six-foot-2 freshman forward from Monte Azul, Brazil, scored two goals and accumulated four points in the No. 10 RedHawks 2-1 win over No. 18 Bethel (Ind.).


Coffman, a six-foot-2 junior keeper from Hendersonville, Tenn., had a total of 12 saves in Trevecca's 2-1 season opening win over Montreat College. The Cavaliers were able to take a total of 22 shots, 13 were shots goal. Only one ball passed by the five-time TranSouth defender of the week.


The MMC RedHawks finished second in the TranSouth last season and are picked to finish second in the conference this year. The TNU Trojans finished fifth last season and are picked to finish seventh this year.
