JACKSON, Tenn. - Bethel (Tenn.) University's Jennifer Chepkemboi and Nelphat Bor have been selected as the TranSouth Conference Runners of the Week for the week ending September 5. This marks the first week of cross country runners of the week for the conference and the NAIA. These awards will continue through the remainder of the regular season.

Chepkemboi, a junior from Kenya, earned the women's award. She placed 103rd in the Belmont Cross Country Opener in Nashville and posted a time of 18:15 in the 4K event. Chepkemboi helped her team to an 11th place finish.
   
Bor, a junior from Kenya, earned the men's award. He placed 30th in the Belmont Cross Country Opener in Nashville and posted at time of 16:33 in the 5K event. Bor helped his team to an eighth place finish.
