HENDERSON, Tenn. - The 2008 Region XI Softball Tournament begins on Wednesday, May 7, at Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University's Morgan Stadium at Associates Field.
Top-seeded Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University seeks its third straight regional championship and will be joined in the tournament by Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College, Georgetown (Ky.) College, Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University, Campbellsville (Ky.) University, and Union (Tenn.) University.
Games 5 and 6 will be played on Thursday at 5:00 and 7:00 PM respectively. Game 7 will be played at 11:00 AM on Friday to be followed by the remainder of the tournament games. Check back with this webpage for frequent news, scores, and updates from the region tournament.

MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Cumberland University captured their third straight TranSouth Tournament title and fifth tournament championship in six years. Cumberland joins the regular season champion Trevecca Nazarene and the regular season runner-up Lambuth as the three automatic bids to the NAIA Region XI Tournament.
