TranSouth Athletic Conference Launches New Website
TranSouth.org will continue to be source for all league information
September 15, 2004

All the news and information about one of the top NAIA conferences in the country will now be available via a new Website.

The TranSouth Athletic Conference will have a new format, but will continue with the previous domain name, TranSouth.org, Commissioner E. L. Hutton, Jr. has announced.

College Sports Online, based in Forest, VA, designed the new Website and will maintain the content, in collaboration with the TSAC. Rhudy Camper is the president of College Sports Online.

"College Sports Online is carving its niche with the competitive level of the small- to mid-size schools and associated conferences," states Camper. "When the opportunity to work with the TranSouth presented itself, we enthusiastically pursued it."

Camper continues, "We are extremely pleased that College Sports Online and the TSAC will together provide a sports site that fans will want to visit often."

The Website will have scores, standings, statistics, news releases and links to the member schools. Other features such as community-service projects undertaken by the student-athletes at the seven schools will be presented periodically.

The TranSouth Athletic Conference operates as a fully sanctioned NAIA conference. The league consists of:

  • Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, MS
  • Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN
  • Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN
  • Lyon College in Batesville, AR
  • Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, TN
  • Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN
  • Union University in Jackson, TN.
