MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. -- The University of North
Alabama continued to roll through its Spring schedule by claiming
its third straight tournament title Tuesday.
The Lions shot identical scores of 300 in the
first and second rounds for a nine-stroke victory over second
place Northwest Shoals at 609. They were followed by West Georgia
at 635, Montevallo at 637, Union at 648, UNA Gold at 661, Trevecca
Nazarene at 673 and Martin Methodist at 694.
Individually, UNA's Brad Conner won medalist
honors after a two-hole playoff with Northwest Shoals Justin
Boyles. Both finished with 147 totals, with Conner making up
ground with a final round 68.
Joining Conner and Boyles on the all-tournament
team were UNA's James Porter (148), Union's Cole Floyd (150),
Northwest Shoals Jonathan Scoggins (151) and Montevallo's Facundo
Casas.
