Trevecca, Seigenthaler Day One Leaders in TranSouth Women's Golf Championship

OLD HICKORY, Tenn. - Trevecca Nazarene University and Trevecca sophomore Mindy Seigenthaler lead after the first day of TranSouth Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships.

Trevecca leads the championship with a combined 356 and is followed by Lyon College (Ark.) with a 370 and Freed-Hardeman University (Tenn.) with a 382.

Individually Trevecca's Mindy Seigenthaler leads the championship with a 82 and is followed by teammate Kristi Gearhart is tied with Chelsea Gilliam of Lyon College for second place with a 85. Sarah Kate Hendrix of Freed-Hardeman is fourth with a 86 and Adriane Barnett is fifth with a 89.

The TranSouth Championship will conclude with a second round on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the 6773 yard-par 72 General's Retreat at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn.
