Blue Mountain College is a Christian
liberal arts undergraduate institution supported by the
Mississippi Baptist Convention. Deeply committed to the
education of women since its founding in 1873, Blue Mountain
College has continued to attract capable, confident women who
desire a Christian, caring environment in which to develop
their potential and uniqueness. By combining an excellent
liberal arts curriculum with Christian values, BMC helps
prepare students to make a difference. Having a small
student-centered campus and a committed faculty and staff, the

The purpose of Blue Mountain College's
intercollegiate athletic program is to promote the education
and development of students through athletic participation. A
common commitment to high standards and the principle that
athletics serve as an integral part of education is supportive
of Blue Mountain College's purpose of "intellectual
integrity, academic excellence, social consciousness, and
Christian character."
