PULASKI, Tenn. - Anais Puertas of Trevecca Nazarene University has been selected the TranSouth Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week while Allison Blackwood Cumberland University has been named the TranSouth Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 7, 2010.

Puertas, a 5-foot-8 junior, outfielder from Estado Carabobo, Venezuela helped the Trojans to a 4-0 week with two wins over Bethel University and two wins over Covenant College. She had six extra base hits including three homeruns and three doubles.
