JACKSON, Tenn. - Union (Tenn.) University junior guard Kayla Hudson became the program's all-time assists leader in Union's first round game of the 2010 NAIA DI Women's Basketball National Championship. Hudson now has 614 career assists, passing the 611 assists dished out by Lisa Hutchens from 1979 to 1983.

Hudson needed just three assists entering the game to tie the record. She recorded six of Union's 25 assists in the game.

Hudson, the former Gleason, Tenn. standout, has been a named to the TranSouth All-Conference team in each of her three seasons, including a spot on the all-freshman team back in 2008. Hudson was named an NAIA All-American last season as a sophomore.
